Pelvic Dysfunction

Our treatment philosophy is to treat the whole body in terms of position and muscle balance of the body so that muscles can work in their intended orientation for normal function to occur.

This includes muscles of the pelvic floor that are directly dependent on the postural muscles that hold our pelvis and spine in correct orientation in a three dimensional way through functional activities.

When we appreciate how all these muscles should work together, we are able to address dysfunctions around the pelvis including: incontinence, pelvic pain, post-surgical weakness for women and men, and back pain with pregnancy.
